The Oxford Standard for Citation Of Legal Authorities
is designed to facilitate accurate citation of authorities, legislation, and other legal materials. It is widely used in law schools and by journal and book publishers in the UK and beyond. OSCOLA is edited by the Oxford Law
Faculty, in consultation with the OSCOLA Editorial Advisory Board*.
OSCOLA revision in progress
OSCOLA is undergoing revision during 2009.
We would appreciate any feedback you may have regarding clarification of the existing citation guidelines or requests for citation guidelines for other UK legal sources. If you have
any comments, difficulties, or suggestions for improvement in relation
to OSCOLA, please write to oscola@law.ox.ac.uk.
