In advance of this year's Cuppers mooting competition, a mooting information session and workshop will be conducted with the assistance of members of Maitland Chambers. All interested students may attend and participate; it is not a prerequisite for entry into the competition that students have attended the workshop, nor a requirement of attending the workshop that they be contemplating entry into the competition. The workshop will cover how to approach a mooting problem and prepare for a moot, and will include a short demonstration moot, together with an opportunity for participants to prepare and present submissions under the guidance of the workshop facilitators.
