Approaches to tutorial teaching - a panel discussion

Monday 3 November 2008 13.00

bullet Venue: Oxford Law Faculty SCR

Organised by Developing Learning and Teaching in Law seminar series

Speaker: Law Faculty Tutors

The first discussion (week 4) will include several faculty tutors who teach different subjects and who have varying levels of experience. This discussion should be useful for new teachers, and for those looking for new ways of teaching tutorials. The second discussion (week 8) is designed to help tutors provide essay feedback that students not only find useful but also put into practice, and to do all of that efficiently. Please do the reading first: D Nicol and N Macfarlane-Dick (2006) 'Formative assessment and self-regulated learning: A model and seven principles of good practice' 31(2) Studies in Higher Education 199-218.
