Justine Pila

University Lecturer in Intellectual Property Law 

Justine Pila (MA, DIPLathe (Oxford); PhD, BA/LLB Hons (Melb)) is a Fellow and Tutor in Law at St Catherine's College and a Senior Member of the Oxford Intellectual Property Research Centre. Before taking up her current posts in 2004 she was writing her PhD in Melbourne and Princeton after a stint in private practice and a period as Associate to the Chief Justice of the Federal Court of Australia. She works in Intellectual Property Law, focusing particularly on Copyright and Patents, and is currently writing a history of the European Patent Convention for publication by OUP.
