Mary Bosworth Reader in Criminology Mary Bosworth is ULNTF in Criminology in association with St Cross College, having previously been the Katzenbach Fellow at the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies. Dr Bosworth conducts research on the sociology of punishment, with a particular focus on imprisonment. Her research is international and comparative and has included work conducted in Paris, Britain, the USA and Australia.

This author took the lead in writing it and estimates a 75:25 division of labour, of which her part is the greater. This split is apparent in the case studies, most of which derive from her research in women's prisons. ISBN: 1741-3095 Correspondence address: St Cross College, St. Giles
