			Around 80 members of the Oxford Law Faculty are members because they hold established or titular University posts in law or legally-related disciplines. Each of them is also a fellow of an Oxford college (unless he or she decided otherwise). Most hold what are called 'joint appointments': readerships or lecturerships conferred by the University coupled with tutorial fellowships conferred, at the same time, by a college. Some posts (mostly statutory chairs) carry no college teaching duties. However even those who teach only for the University usually have their offices in their colleges, not in the faculty building.
