Oxford Pro Bono Publico is a group of law postgraduates and Law Faculty members dedicated to the practice of public interest law on a pro bono basis. Specifically the function of OPBP is to assist in the preparation of research briefs, expert opinions, amicus curiae, and policy submissions. Oxford Pro Bono Publico acts for and under the direction of practising solicitors and barristers who are themselves acting on a pro bono basis. The group is independent of the Law Faculty but membership is limited to those working in the Faculty.

The group welcomes project submissions from pro bono lawyers, NGOs and other international organizations involved in the protection of human rights and the promotion of public interest law.
